“The things we do for our kids. Yippie-kai-yay, mother….” – John McClane
Number of Times Seen – 1 (16 May 2013)
Brief Synopsis – John McClane is back. This time trying to save his son in Russia
My Take on it – Where is the John McClane we all know and love. I have been a fan of the series since the beginning, but this was just too much. It was great seeing McClane again, but they will never be able to top the first two and should stop trying.
If this wasn’t a sequel, I probably never would have even tried to see it.
I can’t believe they plan on making a 6th one 😦
Bottom Line – This movie was mediocre at best, but that could be because it’s being held up by it’s previous incarnations. See it if you like the series or action movies in general where the plot isn’t so important.
Rating – BAFTA worthy
Yep, really was awful, and I’m REALLY easy-going about action flicks. I even enjoyed the previous Die Hard which was pretty lame compared to the previous ones. This one just…sucked.
