“A lot of times you don’t know how it end. When your units get to a scene you sign off and they take over. But, you don’t know, did they make an arrest, shoot the bad guy, did the PR live, did she die…” – Brook
Number of Times Seen – 1 (17 Jun 2013)
Brief Synopsis – A 911 operator must help save a young girl who has been abducted in a race against time.
My Take on it – I actually liked the premise of the movie and even enjoyed it thru the first half.
I’m somewhat surprised that 911 operators really could think of some of the ideas Halle Berry’s character used to try and save Abigail Breslin, but since I am a proponent of suspension of disbelief, I went with the flow.
Around the halfway point, the movie took a nosedive so steep it couldn’t recover and made me actually hate this movie. Had the movie ended at the halfway point, I think I would have thoroughly enjoyed it.
Pity.
Bottom Line – First half of the movie had the momentum to be really good, but it runs out of steam too soon.
Rating – Razzie Worthy
