“The questions I ask – she doesn’t, the things I wonder about – she won’t.” – Jack Harper
Number of Times Seen – 1 (21 Jul 2013)
Brief Synopsis – In a post-apocalyptic Earth, a technician left to protect and repair probes start to question why he is there.
My Take on it – I liked this movie. It was done with love and care. The director was the writer of the Graphic Novel that it’s based on and it shows.
The visual effects are done superbly and you really feel that a new world was created just for this movie. I would love to have a house in the sky like they do here. A friend mentioned that it reminded him of the home of the Jetsons and I think there is no better way to describe it (Thanks Boaz)
The story takes many twists and turns throughout and many of those turns are quite unexpected, but are pleasantly accepted as part of the story.
I’ve never thought of Tom Cruise as an amazing actor, but he does a great job here.
If you are a fan of “other world” stories, here is a pretty original one to dive into.
Enjoy your journey into this new world!
Bottom Line – Great Sci-fi movie. Amazing special effects. Recommended
Rating – Globe Worthy
NICE, now I’m flattered! 🙂
