Suddenly (2013)

Brief Synopsis – A deputy sheriff in a small town tries to stop gunmen from attempting to assassinate the President.

My Take on it – I don’t understand why Hollywood constantly tries to re-make great movies and they usually make far inferior ones when they attempt it.

This is a prime example of that problem.

The plot here attempts top be more modern but why break something that works.  The original Suddenly (1954) did it all so well and made it seem so simplistic.

Even with a cast of Ray Liotta, Michael Pare and Dominick Purcell, this movie fails to even come close to the story from the original one.

Don’t waste your time!

Bottom Line – Terrible re-make, watch the original and skip this one.
