“Smoking is an obsession with me. Maybe someday I’ll become obsessed with something else and give up smoking.” – Dr. Martha Livingston
Number of Times Seen – 1 (10 Sep 2013)
Brief Synopsis – A court appointed psychiatrist is charged with finding out what happened after a young nun gives birth and the baby mysteriously dies.
My Take on it – I had higher expectations for this movie and was somewhat disappointed by the story.
I can’t really put my finger on it, but something was definitely missing.
The acting, on the other hand was great. Both Meg Tilly and Anne Bancroft were deserving of their Oscar nominations, but they are the only two redeeming qualities I found in this mediocre play that was turned into an even more mediocre movie.
Bottom Line – Didn’t like the storyline very much, had higher hopes for this mediocre movie.
Rating – BAFTA Worthy
