Number of Times Seen – 1 (15 Sep 2013)
Brief Synopsis – The boys of the Hangover go on a new adventure when they plan to take Alan to a rehabilitation center in Arizona
My Take on it – I really enjoyed the original Hangover (2009), it was definitely a great idea and I loved the fact that even by the end of the movie, the characters never really knew what went wrong.
The two subsequent sequels were both fun, but clearly they were made just to make money, not just for entertainment value.
The 4 main characters definitely continue with their original mannerisms and that’s one of the main reasons that we love them all. Alan is always quirky, Phil is the sensible one, Doug is the quiet one and Stu is the Dr.
It truly is fun to see them all together again and it’s amazing how outrageous the writers can get with the plots and scenarios that they are all involved in.
This one was enjoyable, but it wasn’t laughing out loud like the original was.
Closes the story in a pretty interesting way while still leaving open the possibility of another reunion.
Bottom Line – Not as good or as funny as the previous two, but still worthy of being part of the Hangover canon.
Rating – BAFTA Worthy
