Number of Times Seen – 1 (8 Oct 2013)

Brief Synopsis – A documentary that chronicles the problem and crime of sexual assault and rape within the US military.

My Take on it – It seems that the more I watch documentaries, the more I enjoy taking the time to watch them.

As I’ve stated in the past, I’ve never really been a fan of documentary movies, but I’m starting to get the feel for them.

This movie discusses a very disturbing topic that completely amazed me that:

A) It happens so much that it can be called an epidemic,

and

B) That the system doesn’t seem to care, acknowledge or try to put a stop to it.

It’s a complete shame that these men and women volunteer to serve their country and get scarred for life because of the rampant predators circulating in the US military.

The story shown here is very sad and moving, but seeing that these women have reached a point where they will do what it takes to change the system, this movie shows hope for their futures and ours!

Bottom Line – Very powerful movie.  Amazing that things like this can actually happen and no one is able to find a way to stop this epidemic.

Rating – Oscar Worthy
