TheSecretofMySuccess19871_zps25453e57“I was having fun on this job! You had all this energy, and all these crazy ideas… and you kept taking your pants off.” – Jean

Number of Times Seen – Too many times to count  (Theater in 1987, cable, video, DVD, 20 Sep 2008 and 12 Feb 2014)

Brief Synopsis – A recent college graduate travels to New York to start working in the corporate world and tries to find a way to get to the top faster.

My Take on it – I saw this in the theater in ’87 and have always extremely enjoyed this movie.

Michael J. Fox is superb here in this role and was at the top of his game when this came out.

I have always loved Helen Slater and she is superhot in this movie.  I always wished I could meet someone like her. 🙂

This movie is lots of fun and the way that he figures out how to manipulate the system works so well in the backdrop of the  corporate world.

The characters here are all fun and I loved how the word secret in the title so much exemplifies the way all the characters act to get what they want in this movie.

This movie has an amazing soundtrack. The Price of Love, Dont Ask the Reason Why, Sometimes the Good Guys Finish First and the title song are all excellent!

Bottom Line – A very fun movie! great cast and it’s fun the way everyone tries to keep their secrets from getting found out.  Highly Recommended!

Rating – Oscar Worthy

    • Thanks for stopping by and commenting Dan.

Yes this and Back To The Future were his best movies. (I actually just starting re-watching Night Court and MJF guest starred on the second episode as a teenage runaway)

Yep, the Jaws theme was quite appropriate 🙂
