Number of Times Seen – 2 (Theater in 1995 and 16 Feb 2014)
Brief Synopsis – Foster brother who are both NYC Transit cops try to devise a scheme to rob the nightly train carrying money collected from the subway.
My Take on it – Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson are back together again and do a better job here than they did in White Men Can’t Jump (1992).
They play mismatched foster brother cops who get tangled up in so many problems that they feel their only solution will be to rob the train carrying all of New Years Day money collected by the Transit Authority.
There are a few funny scenes between the two W’s and there are also some action scenes, but in the end this can be chalked up to just another mediocre buddy-buddy cop movie from the 90’s.
Bottom Line – Mediocre action movie that has a few laughs. Better than Snipes/Harrelson’s previous joint endeavors.
Rating – BAFTA Worthy
