Number of Times Seen – No clue  (27 Feb 2014)

Brief Synopsis – A young boy raised in the jungle by wolves goes on a quest with a bear and panther to find the human settlement while being tracked by a dangerous tiger.

My Take on it – After spending the last week or so trying to finish watching all Oscar Best Picture winners before my self-imposed deadline on Sunday night, I decided to take a break for a day and watched 5 (yes 5!) Disney animated movies that I loved as a kid.

Next was The Jungle Book.

This is such a fun Disney film!

The characters are all loveable and memorable and I just love all the songs especially ” The Bare Necessities”.

This was the last Disney film overseen by Walt himself before he died.  It was released a few short months after his death.

My favorite characters are by far the Monkeys and King Louie.  I still think they are hilarious and I laughed throughout the scenes they were in.

When my older kids were a tad younger, they loved this story and I found myself reading it to them on most nights before bedtime.

This is one of the funnest Disney animated movies and I’m sure that the animators and writers had a lot of fun creating this one.

Bottom Line – Very fun Disney movie! Great songs and Very Fun characters.  Recommended!

Rating – Globe Worthy
