“Get over it? I mean, what happened? Did I get shot in the brain… Hi. I’m Tom.” – Ten Second Tom
Number of Times Seen – 2 (26 may 2004 and 2 Mar 2014)
Brief Synopsis – A womanizer falls in love with a women who’s memory is erased every night causing her to completely forget him every day.
My Take on it – I am NOT a fan of most of Adam Sandler comedies and actually haven’t even seen most of them.
I recall seeing this almost 10 years ago and remembered it being ok, so I decided to give it another shot after enjoying watching The Wedding Singer (1998).
The chemistry between Sandler and Drew Barrymore is obvious and although the premise is a bit far fetched, this is a fun movie to watch.
The humor isn’t Sandler’s usual stuff and the whole movie is done very cleverly.
Nice supporting roles by Sean Astin and Dan Ackroyd.
There are a few laugh out loud moments here, but the rom-com aspects are done somewhat tactfully.
I don’t know how
Bottom Line – Fun Sandler-Barrymore Rom-com. They definitely have great chemistry together. Recommended!
Rating – Globe Worthy
