“There’s a certain way a man stares at a woman he loves. The man looks like a boy on his birthday. And he treats the woman as if she were a gift that he’s waited so long to open and now he can’t wait to see what the treasure is inside.” – Patty

Brief Synopsis – A college student meets the girl of his dreams in a dark elevator and decides to try and find her by posing as a maintenance man in the building.
My Take on it – This is an interesting movie because the premise isn’t very original, but the writers take an interesting path to move the movie along.
The protagonist, played by Jonathan Tucker isn’t a well known actor at all, but he gives off the boy next door vibe that help this movie seem more believable than it really should be.
His character is charming and likeable and he does a fine job of making us want him to succeed in his quest to find the girl of his dreams.
This movie does a great job of taking so many cliche’s of different types of girls and putting them all together in one building so that each and every female character is so different and interesting in their own way.
The script is well written (also slightly cliched, but still fun) and even though I realize this isn’t the greatest movie made it is a slightly above average and unique kind of rom-com and is worth seeing at least once or twice just for some laughs.
Bottom Line – Not the best movie ever, but I liked the main character and the script was witty.
Rating – BAFTA Worthy
