“I coulda been happy. I coulda been a Yankees fan.” – Nicky Rogan
Number of Times Seen – 1 (7 Apr 2014)
Brief Synopsis – A playwright has his life turned upside down when the opening night of his new play coincides with Game 6 of the World Series in 1986.
My Take on it – I generally try to do a bit of research on a movie before I see it ion order to at least gauge whether I will like the premise or not.
This is a movie that I saw on a Baseball movie website a few years ago and have been trying very hard to find since then.
Unfortunately, this movie shouldn’t be classified as a baseball movie, because the only baseball featured are clips from the World Series Game 6 in 1986 which is going on as story in the movie takes place.
This movie is so boring and silly that I can’t believe that stars Michael Keaton and Robert Downey Jr. would even agreed to appear in this.
I would strongly suggest that you all stay away from this movie since it unfortunately doesn’t offer anything interesting to the viewer.
Bottom Line – Terrible movie, cant believe that Downey Jr. and Keaton actually signed on for this one.
Rating – Razzie Worthy

The film initially piqued my interest because I am a New York Mets fan, so I was curious how game six of the 1986 World Series would be used in the film. I couldn’t agree more with your review, the movie is very dull.
