Rob the Mob (2014)

Rob the Mob“A good story is like a miniskirt on a hot girl; long enough to cover the subject and short enough to be interesting” – Jerry Cardozo

Number of Times Seen – 1 (30 Jun 2014)

Brief Synopsis – Based on the true story of a modern day Bonnie and Clyde who thought up a scheme to rip off the mafia during the early 90′s.

My Take on it – I wasn’t too sure what this movie was about and truthfully started watching it expecting it to be a comedy.

It turns out that it happens to be an interesting true tale of two amateur thieves who by accident get very deep in mafia business without realizing the potential repercussions.

The story is told quite well and it is captivating throughout as it moves between the thieves, a reporter, the mob bosses after them and the FBI tracking the wiseguys.

Not necessarily a movie worth multiple viewings but entertaining none the less.

Bottom Line – interesting plot, interesting characters that makes for an enjoyable movie watching experience.

Rating – Globe Worthy
