“When it’s this quiet at home, a cafe explodes…… KABLOOM!!!!” – Uzi
Number of Times Seen – 1 (2 Jul 2014)
Brief Synopsis – A high school student must re-live a very important day over and over again.
My Take on it – In a rare occurrence I chose to watch the trailer of this movie before watching the movie itself.
This gave me an idea of what it was about and I actually found the premise interesting enough to try out the movie.
This movie attempts to merge the concepts of American Pie (1999) and Groundhog Day (1993) and does it in an interesting but unfortunately average way.
The comedy is mostly juvenile humor, but there are still some funny scenes. The best ones are when he is shown trying to ‘test’ the limits of his recurring day.
Bottom Line – Mediocre attempt to merge the concepts of American Pie (1999) and Groundhog Day (1993). Has some humorous scenes especially when he is ‘testing’ the limits.
Rating – BAFTA Worthy
