“It’s time to light the lights. [Detonates explosives]” – Constantine
Number of Times Seen – 1 (10 Jul 2014)
Brief Synopsis – When Kermit is kidnapped by his doppelganger, a criminal mastermind and sent to a Russian prison, the rest of the muppets must try to find a way to get him back.
My Take on it – Ever since I was a kid, I have always been very fond of the muppets. I used to always watch their show and at least at some point could name all of the characters.
This sequel fits in quite nicely within the realm of the muppets and touches on just about every point that always made the muppets so loveable.
The songs are pretty good and I liked how the managed to include so many of the characters in the storyline.
It was great how they finally decided to develop and explore the relationship between Kermit and Miss Piggy rven giving us aglimpse of what future children might look like.
As enjoyable as this was, something still felt slightly missing.
Bottom Line – Worthy addition to the Muppet canon. Great songs. Nice how they explore the Kermit-Piggy relationship on a deeper level. Recommended!
Rating – Globe Worthy

Not as fun as the first, but still a good time nonetheless. Because with the Muppets around, it’s almost too hard to be bored. Good review Rob.

Oh wait, I think I confused this one w/ the first one w/ Jason Segel & Amy Adams, I haven’t seen this sequel yet.

I had a good time with this one. Didn’t like the songs as much as the first and the story was weaker but it was still pretty entertaining! 🙂
