“I love to scare the hell out of people.” – The Devil
Number of Times Seen – Between 5 – 10 times(Theater in 1984, cable in the 80’s and 14 Jul 2014)
Brief Synopsis – The Devil and God vie for the soul of a struggling musician.
My Take on it – In the final Oh God movie, George Burns takes on a double role as both God and the Devil.
You can tell he had fun playing both sides of the coin and his antics are quite enjoyable.
As a kid I saw this a few times and enjoyed it very much. For some reason I always have remembered bits and pieces of this movie including the song about Paul Revere.
It was nice refreshing those memories, but unfortunately, the story itself is at best mediocre.
Bottom Line – Burns is great fun in the dual roles. Plays both sides extremely well. Story is mediocre tho.
Rating – BAFTA Worthy

I used to love this when I was a kid too. It was on HBO 537 times a day.
