The Sentinel (2006)

sentinel“Well, Agent Merriweather spent the last twenty-five years honing his ability to sense danger. To notice anything outside of the ordinary. So for some average street criminal to get the drop on him? Yeah, it raises some questions. ” – David Breckinridge

Number of Times Seen – 1  (21 Jul 2014)

Brief Synopsis – Two Secret Service agents work against one another in order to find a mole in the service who is trying to assist with an assassination of the President.

My Take on it – I am surprised that I somehow missed this movie. It is most definitely the kind of movie that if done right is very enjoyable to me.

This is a well written, well acted and intriguing conspiracy theory movie.

There are numerous twists and turns and it doesn’t get boring at all. We are constantly given more and more breadcrumbs to help us also solve the mystery along with the characters.. Suffice it to say, the storyline was well thought out.

Michael Douglas and Kiefer Sutherland work well both together and opposite each other as necessary.

Although it’s not the best conspiracy theory movie ever made it is extremely entertaining.

Bottom Line – Very good conspiracy theory movie that involves lots of good clues along the way. Douglas and Sutherland work well together and against each other. Recommended!

Rating – Globe Worthy
