Brief Synopsis – A patriotic but scrawny young man volunteers to fight the Nazis as part of a top secret scientific program during World War Two.

My Take on it – In my opinion, this is by far the best origin story movie made by Marvel.

Captain America is a great hero who’s patriotism and heroism makes him someone we can all aspire to be like.

I love the way that special effects were used to make Chris Evans muscular body look scrawny.

The action portrayed works well in our universe as well as in one that inhabits superhumans.

The story is quite well written and moves along at a pleasantly fast pace never allowing us to be bored.

Bottom Line – One of the best movies made within the Marvel universe. Captain America is a great superhero who bears real patriotism and heroics. Great special effects, action and a compelling story. Excellent telling of his origin story. Highly recommended.

Rating – Oscar Worthy (no change from original review)
