“Can’t trust a woman in a pants suit. Men wear the pants. The world doesn’t need anymore Hillary Clintons. ” – Robert Hannsen
Number of Times Seen – 2 (13 Feb 2008 and 7 Aug 2014)
Brief Synopsis – The tale of how the highest ranking mole in the US government was caught.
My Take on it – Real life thrillers are always fun to watch.
This movie tells the story of how an elite FBI unit had to figure out who the mole was and find a way to try and capture him.
The cast is excellent. Chris Cooper, Ryan Phillipe, Laura Linney, Kathleen Quinlan, Gary Cole, Bruce Davison and Dennis Haysbert are all superb here.
This is another example of a movie where it’s more fun to see how it gets to the end as opposed to what actually happens at the end.
The story is written intelligently and the psychological and verbal duels between the characters are excellent!
Bottom Line – Intriguing espionage thriller that is based on fact. Eventhough we know how it should end, it’s enjoyable to see how they get there. Recommended!
Rating – Globe Worthy
