CASTLE“Mum said it was funny how one day you’re not famous, and the next day you are. Famous. And then you’re not again.” – Dale Kerrigan

Number of Times Seen – 1 (15 Sep 2014)

Brief Synopsis – The story of a family living life happily in a secluded area of Australia who take on a big corporation.

My Take on it – This is a movie that I wanted to like more than I did but even with the wacky characters the story just isn’t strong enough or compelling enough.

Perhaps it’s a cultural thing and people more familiar with Australian culture can enjoy it more.

It was cool to see Eric Bana in his movie debut.

What was even cooler was the fact that the main character seems to have been played by non other than our good friend Mikey from Screenkicker 😀

If you don’t believe me, compare for yourself.

Bottom Line – Wacky movie that has great quirky characters but the story itself unfortunately just isn’t strong enough to be even above average.

Rating – BAFTA Worthy
