Number of Times Seen – 1 (15 Sep 2014)

Brief Synopsis – A troubled preppy high school student is sent to the local public school and continues to find ways to wreck havok.

My Take on it – I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from this movie. I vaguely recall hearing about it, but it didn’t really sound that interesting.

Boy was I wrong!

This movie grabbed me from the get-go.

What I think makes this movie so interesting is the charisma of its main character, Charlie Bartlett played exceptionally well by Anton Yelchin.

His character might perhaps be one of the best high school schemers since Ferris Bueller.

The script and dialogue are excellent and it’s entertaining all the way through.

Bottom Line – One of the best high school teenager characters since Ferris Bueller. Yelchin is excellent in the title role. Very clever script that is extremely entertaining. Highly recommended!

Rating – Oscar Worthy
