Predestination (2014)

predestination“Something this job has taught me is that truth is stranger than fiction” – The Bartender

Number of Times Seen – 1 (23 Nov 2014)

Brief Synopsis – A futuristic time travel agent is sent on a final mission bsck in time to stop a bomber before he kills thousands of innocent people.

My Take on it – I’m a huge fan of time travel movies and when I heard of the premise of this movie, I knew that it had the potential of being a movie that I’d enjoy.

This movie’s plot gives the viewer a lot to consider about time travel and how it can affect the world we live in. Eventhough key elements on the plot are quite predictable it’s still extremely engaging.

This is loosely based on a Robert Heinlein short story and I’d be interested in seeing what the original premise is.

Bottom Line – Very cool time travel premise that despite it being somewhat predictable still gets the viewer to think about how we perceive time and its effect on events in life. Recommended!

Rating – Globe Worthy
