“I try to teach Edie that a woman has the right to be loved…and to be known.” – Annie
Number of Times Seen – 1 (25 Dec 2014)
Brief Synopsis –After a sudden and unexpected divorce a man tries to find a place in his busy life for a return to the world of dating and for his young daughter who he feels is slowly distancing herself from him.
My Take on it – I must admit that having myself been divorced in the past, the premise sounded interesting to me.
Unfortunately, the execution just isn’t that great.
The characters and situations are ok, but I felt that a lot more could have been done to make this movie more interesting and fulfilling.
In the end, I felt as lost as the characters seem to be.
Bottom Line – An interesting premise that just doesn’t feel fulfilling enough. The viewer feels as lost as the characters.
Rating – BAFTA Worthy
