“Everything’s got a price. ” – John Wick
Number of Times Seen – 1 (11 Feb 2015)
Brief Synopsis – A former assasin who left the business goes after the men who stole his car and killed his dog.
My Take on it – Every so often, even someone like me is in the mood for some brainless action and having heard how fun this movie is to watch, I decided to give it a try.
This was such a fun action movie and I didn’t care how ridiculous or absurd it got because the action just kept coming.
I liked how the created a world within our world for assassins including ‘safe’ hotels and nightclubs.
When I first heard that Keanu Reeves was cast in this, I was a bit skeptical as to whether he could pull it off or not.
I am happy to say that he manages quite well here and semms perfect in the role.
I’m definitely looking forward to seeing what they do with the sequel!
Bottom Line – Such a fun action movie that we don’t care how flimsy the plot really is. Reeves seems midcast, but ultimately proves that he was perfect for the role. Recommended!
MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – Keanu Reeves learned and memorized the nightclub fight sequence the day that the scene was filmed. (From IMDB)
Rating – Globe Worthy
