“They’ve got you wrong. You’re not a coward. STUPID, maybe. But not a coward. ” – The Gyro Captain
Number of Times Seen – 1 (12 Feb 2015)
Brief Synopsis – The former policeman gets involved in a turf war between two factions over gasoline while traveling through the wasteland.
My Take on it – Of the three Mad Max movies, I enjoyed this one the most mainly because the action and stunts were done much better than in the other two.
That being said, the storyline in this one wasn’t very interesting or engaging to me and this movie is only worth watching for some of its spectacular stunts.
Mel Gibson’s Max doesnt have much to say here and gets his point across with his actions instead of his words.
The problem here is the same as with all three movies and that’s the fact that we don’t have characters that we care about
Bottom Line – Best of the 3 IMHO, but far from being great. I liked the action, but just couldn’t care less about any of the characters including the star.
MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – Mel Gibson only had 16 lines of dialogue in the entire film, and two of them were: “I only came for the gasoline.” (From IMDB)
Rating – BAFTA Worthy

I LOVE the Mad Max series (with the exception of the 3rd one maybe) and cannot wait for the new one. Probably has more to do with me watching this when I was a small impressionable child, and thinking it was the best thing ever. This is my favorite of the bunch too.
