quackbusters“[trying to sell a car] Right this way, folks, right this way! It’s a bargain! Step right up and get yourself a brand new Dolorian! No household should be without one! Just $60,000 in three easy weekly installments. Yes sir, these little babies are selling like hotcakes! Plus, there’s a free gift pack of ice-cold Billy Beer with each and ever purchase! ” – Daffy

Number of Times Seen – a few times (Cable in the 80’s and 18 Mar 2015)

Brief Synopsis – After inheriting millions of dollars, Daffy Duck opens a Quackbusting agency in order to do good and be able to keep the money.

My Take on it – Once again, I’ve come across a movie that I recall enjoying as a kid and decided to revisit it to see what I would think of it now.

I cant say that this movie is bad, but it also isn’t great.

Like most Looney Tunes cartoons, this is enjoyable to watch, but it doesn’t do much beyond that.

The best scene is the opening scene where we get to see Daffy doing a stand up routine for monsters and his accompanying song.

Bottom Line – Just a generic Looney Tunes cartoon that is enjoyable to watch but not much moreso. The opening scene with the jokes and the song are the most memorable

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – Mel Blanc’s final role in a Looney Tunes related movie. (From IMDB)

Rating – BAFTA Worthy
