Brief Synopsis – After witnessing and filming a murder in a deserted field, a young couple try to claim a reward from the government.

My Take on it – I had never even heard of this one before Eric recommended it to me and I truly had no clue what to expect.

I was so pleasantly surprised by the fact that this was a well thought out and entertaining crime thriller and in many respects it reminded me of Fargo (1996) mainly due to its small town crime element.

The cast is amazing for such a small budget film.

Liam Hemsworth, Billy Bob Thornton, John Malkovich and Bruce Dern are all excellent here.

The script is tense and due to all the twists and turns in the movie, I was gripped to my seat because I was so interested in seeing what would happen next.

The characters are all great and each one injects a unique personality into the storyline that helps take us on a very fun rollercoaster ride

This is a movie that I plan to see again in the near future and I can’t wait to get another opportunity.

Bottom Line – Surprisingly interesting and entertaining crime thriller. Excellent cast and script keep you on the edge of your seat due to all the great twists and turns throughout. Can’t wait to see this movie again! Highly recommended!
