Porky’s Revenge (1985)

52_d__0_PorkysRevenge-320x415 “Let’s hurry up, take the test and get the hell out of here.” – Billy

Number of Times Seen – At least 5 times (A few times on cable and 29 Jun 2015)

Brief Synopsis – The teenagers from Angel Beach once again lock horns with the dastardly Porky when he schemes to get them back for all they did to him

My Take on it – Usually, when one watches a movie in a franchise, it’s fun to revisit characters that we have gotten to know and love from earlier installments.

That isn’t the case here because thus one was completely terrible.

Not even the same realm of pranks and humor used in the previous movies could help save this from being a dud.

Porky got his best revenge on all of us who actually spent the time watching this movie. 😉

Bottom Line – Final movie in the series that is by far the weakest. Usually, we look forward to revisiting characters from previous movies in a franchise, but this was a complete dud.

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – Bob Clark was invited to write and direct a third Porky’s film. He was interested, but also busy directing Rhinestone (1984) and said that he would have to think about a good storyline for the film. The producers didn’t want to wait for him to do this however, and hired Ziggy Steinberg to write a screenplay for the film. Clark hated the screenplay and was furious that the producer had it written behind his back; as a result, he refused to have anything to do with the film. (From IMDB)

Rating – Razzie Worthy
