Tim gave me a choice of about 10 movies to pick from. None of them grabbed my eye and this seemed like the tamest one. I chose very very poorly on this one! 🙂 Tnx Tim for trying!

“You are her priority protection; she is your package” – General X
Number of Times Seen – 1 (16 Aug 2015)
Brief Synopsis – An elite team of soldiers in sent on a mission to safeguard the last fertile woman.
My Take on it – This movie was not a pleasant experience for me at all. I was soo bored with what was going on because…NOTHING was going on. The team of soldiers kept getting smaller and smaller and then the pipes they were crawling thru got smaller and smaller.
If felt as if the only point was to show how many angle shots one can film of people squeezing thru tight spaces.
The claustrophobia aspect of this film is perhaps it’s sole redeeming factor although The Jacket (2005) made me feel even more claustrophobic than this one did.
I’m aware that in horror movies, there is generally no character or plot development, but this movie was missing even an iota of both of those and it just made me feel so distant from what is going on and I didn’t care who would make it in the end or not.
Bottom Line – Don’t see anything redeeming about this movie besides the claustrophobia aspect. The characters are all superficial and we understand less and less as it goes on.
MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – First movie of a planned trilogy (From COD Website)
Rating – Razzie Worthy

In fairness to Rob – it was an eccentric list.
Gotta check out The Jacket (2005) now. 😀

See the budget this was made on and look at how it was about claustrophobia was achieved. one big issue with horrors today is they never tap into a fear like this film did.
