Cop Car (2015)

“Boys I know you can hear me. You are in a whole lot of trouble.” – Sheriff Kretzercop car

Number of Times Seen – 1 (18 Aug 2015)

Brief Synopsis – After two young boys steal his patrol car, a corrupt sheriff must find them and get it back before anyone finds out.

My Take on it – Once again I have come across a low budget thriller that surprises by how great a story is told.

The story is engaging yet simple and we are curious as to what will happen even after the credits begin to roll at the end.

I loved how they portrayed the innocence of the boys because it gives the viewer a true feeling of youthfulness and naivete but at the same time it scares us because we dont know what will come next.

With this role, Kevin Bacon once again proves how tremendous an actor he truly is.

Actually can’t wait to see this again!

Bottom Line – Pure gem of a movie with a simple story that keeps you interested throughout. The innocence of the boys is both scary and invigorating to watch. Bacon once again proves how great an actor he really is. Highly recommended!

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – The director for this film, Jon Watts, is the director for the upcoming Spider-Man reboot (From IMDB)

Rating – Oscar Worthy
