“The world isn’t ready for this technology. ” – Ms. Yutani
Number of Times Seen – 1 (17 Sep 2015)
Brief Synopsis – The Xenomorphs and Predators have it out again. This time in a suburban area.
My Take on it – I didn’t even know this movie existed until I heard that there was a psuedo sequel to AVP while doing research for this marathon
Part of me wishes that I never had found out about it.
There isn’t much entertainment here besides a few above average action sequences.
The characters aren’t introduced very well and we are given the impression that knowing them matters not because the humans are all there as canon fodder while the two alien races fight it out instead of having a real purpose.
I really hope that this is the end of the AVP franchise if this is the direction there are aiming at.
Bottom Line – By far the worse and least entertaining of all 7 of the movies in this series. Terrible character development because they just wanted more canon fodder. A few good action sequences but that’s about it.
MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – At the cemetery sequence, the man with a gun stands in front of a tombstone with the name “HAWKINS” on it. Hawkins was one of the soldiers of Dutch (Arnold Schwarzenegger) on the first Predator (1987) movie, played by Shane Black, today a screenwriter (Lethal Weapon franchise) and director (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005)). (From IMDB)
Rating – Razzie Worthy

Another one that’s pretty bad, but oh so entertaining! I credit this for it not being a PG-13 film. It was able to be more gruesome and violent. Sad, but true. Probably the only redeeming quality.
