This is my 14th of 31 reviews of Stephen King adaptations as part of the joint Blogathon that Darren (of Movie Reviews 101) and I are running this month in honor of the great horror writer.
Stop by every day to read more and more from us and from other guest bloggers.
Number of Times Seen – 1 (11 Oct 2015)
Brief Synopsis – A young boy goes with his mother and brother to take care of his grandmother who has some sort of mystical powers.
My Take on it – As I’ve stated often [especially this month :)], I’m not teh biggest fan of horror movies, so it would take a lot for me to enjoy something in that genre.
This one did not reach that level.
I was bored most of teh time and was so happy that it was only 75 minutes (less suffering time for me).
Not clue if the book is better and I doubt I will ever even try to read it as things stand right now.
I don’t have much else to say about this either positive or negative, but like I stated earlier, this definitely wasn’t one for me.
Bottom Line – Definitely not my kind of movie. I found it too boring to and was glad it was short. Not sure if the book is better, but I don’t have plans to read it because this was just too weird for me.
MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – The type of adult diapers are Bachman brand. Richard Bachman was Stephen Kings pseudonym (From IMDB)
Rating – Razzie Worthy
