Brief Synopsis – John McClane must try and save the day yet again when terrorists take over an airport while his wife’s plane is circling above.
My Take on it – As I’m sure you all already know, I’m a very big fan of this movie and in some ways, I think I may even like it slightly more than the original, but any way that you look at it, this movie is a superb sequel that does justice to the franchise in every way, shape and form.
Rightfully so, it feels like it belongs in the franchise because it is able to duplicate the thrills and suspense of the original but still keep itself unique as much as possible.
Be prepared for twists and turns that you may be blindsided by, but that’s all part of the fun in this one and as they say “par for the course”.
Bruce Willis once again proves that this is really his “perfect” role.
Bottom Line -Superb sequel that manages to hold on to the same amount of suspense and thrills that made the original so popular. Willis is excellent here playing this role again. Great twists along the way make this one so much fun to watch. Highly Recommended!
MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – Renny Harlin made sure that the scene where Major Grant says to McClane that he is “the wrong guy in the wrong place at the wrong time”, with McClane responding “Yeah, story of my life”, ended up in the movie’s trailer, because it perfectly summed up McClane’s character. (From IMDB)
Rating – Oscar Worthy (no change from original review)

Can’t say I like it more than the original, but I just bought this and still enjoyed it. I recall seeing it years ago, and all I remembered was that main twist toward the end. Came out of nowhere!

Completely. … think it may be connected to the fact that I saw it in the theater two days in a row 😉
