“If I do everything right, and all my men do everything right, I still can die. So You just have to accept it.” – Nathan Harris
Number of Times Seen – 1 (15 Nov 2015)
Brief Synopsis – Documentary about soldiers who face hardships while fighting in Iraq and also upon their return home.
My Take on it – Homecoming for a soldier is never an easy integration because life continues while you are away and you return home to a completely new reality.
This movie shows us the lives of soldiers both during war and upon their return home and we get to see quite clearly their ordeals on and off the battlefield.
They edited the back and forth between the different time periods very well.
The heroes of this story are quite clear and they do a great job showing how they adapt to the different situations that life has dealt them.
Bottom Line – Liked the way they integrated to two time lines in order to show the contrast between the way the soldiers deal with both. Does an excellent job depicting the heroes and how they adapt to their world both during war and when the get back home. Recommended!
