“I was in Dallas on November 22nd, 1963. That mean anything to you?” – Walter
Number of Times Seen – 1 (28 Dec 2015)
Brief Synopsis – An out of work documentarian is approached by a dying neighbor who wishes to confess that he was the second gunman on November 22nd 1963, but is he telling the truth?
My Take on it – I’ve always been a fan of conspiracy theory movies and especially ones dealing with the JFK assassination.
This movie fits so well into the genre that I already love so much.
I really loved the way this movie was filmed and the plot was written and executed extremely well.
I’m usually not a big fan of the low budget style of filming but this one actually worked very well that way and this kind of style made it feel even more realistic and plausible.
I saw this two days ago and I’m still pondering it all over and over.
I love movies that make me continue think about them days later and this is one I’m sure I’ll be watching again.
This was directed by Neil Burger who also directed The Illusionist (2006), Limitless (2011) and Divergent (2014). It’s easy to see from this film that he had a big future ahead of him!
Bottom Line – Great addition to the genre of JFK conspiracy theories. Loved the way this was shot and the plot definitely follows the path a subject like this should. Low budget style really helps make one ponder everything that we are told because it seems more real that way. Highly recommended!
