7 Cases (2015)

7 cases“Finally I have a chance to make you feel what I felt then.” – Lawson

Number of Times Seen – 1 (12 Jan 2016)

Brief Synopsis – Two thieves are sent on a scavenger hunt around London in order to recover 7 suitcases filled with the loot of their latest heist

My Take on it – This is a movie with a truly amazing concept that just falls flat due to poor execution.

Usually, this kind of plot would work well in a low-budget arena, but in this case the opposite is true.

Had they used better effects and better actors, the potential of the story working was much greater.

Instead it just doesn’t feel genuine enough and it raises more questions than answers on so many levels

Bottom Line – Such an amazing concept that just didn’t work well here because of its execution.  The low budget aspect works with the storyline in general, but the problem is that it doesn’t feel real enough because of it also.

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – The plate of the car used by Mitch and Floyd is 74U II (Seven for you two), a clear reference to the title of the movie. (From IMDB)

Rating – Razzie Worthy
