Over the years, many studios have tried to find ways to take the same idea that worked once, switch it around a bit and then re-market it as a sequel or even a remake.

This week, let’s discuss a series where the first movie was so successful among teens, that the studio decided to remake it a mere 25 years later, hoping to “cash” in on a new generation that wanted to just get up and dance. We’re talking about Footloose and its remake.
