Number of Times Seen – 1 (6 Apr 2016)
Brief Synopsis –The story of young girl working in an office where we see every detail of what she sees around her.
My Take on it – This is a short film by Lazslo Nemes that is hard to describe without spoiling it too much.
He used this film to hone his film making technique that worked so well in his Oscar Winning film Son of Saul (2015).
He is able to expertly focus on one character and we get to see and hear only what they see and hear.
Here the protagonist is a young female office worker and we learn about her surroundings solely via her eyes and ears.
Bottom Line – Hard to describe short film without spoiling it. Lazslo Nemes expertly shows here that his storytelling techniques are unique and based on this ‘sample’ was able to make the Oscar Winning film Son of Saul (2015). Recommended!
MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – There is no dialogue, except a few words and mostly inaudible background noise. (From IMDB)
Rating – Globe Worthy
