“You’re like a fine wine, you get better with age, and you’re gonna make those Russians drunk. ” – Boisie
Number of Times Seen – 1 (5 May 2016)
Brief Synopsis – As the Concorde makes it’s way across the Atlantic, an arms dealer tries to destroy it.
My Take on it – This is the only one of the movies in this series that I never saw before and now I know why.
This movie really was a dud and it wasn’t easy to get through.
The story is boring and in some cases hilariously funny because of the absurdity of it all.
The cast is pretty good with George Kennedy, Eddie Albert and Robert Wagner in key roles.
Kennedy plays the lead character and as much as I loved his films, he just felt too out of place as the lead and was a much better supporting actor. (His love scene was also too much to handle…)
Bottom Line -Worst of the series. Despite having some great actors in the cast, the story just isn’t good enough. As much as I loved Kennedy, he just wasn’t leading man material.
MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – The only Airport movie to not have an Oscar winner for Best Actor as it’s top billed cast member. (From IMDB)
Rating – Razzie Worthy

This movie is so completely ridiculous it makes it into so bad it’s awesome territory for me. My favorite is when Kennedy is doing barrel rolls with this gigantic plane filled with people and firing shots out the window.
