Number of Times Seen – 1 (4 Aug 2016)
Brief Synopsis – A private investigation agency that relies on a psychic gets hired to find a missing girl.
My Take on it – This is a movie that I know I saw once or twice on cable but didn’t recall it at all.
I guess that’s a good thing because otherwise, I probably wouldn’t have even considered rewatching this piece of drivel.
This crime comedy is completely boring and unfunny the whole way through.
I expected that with a cast that included John Larroquette, Bronson Pinchot, Bess Armstrong and Stuart Pankin that this would be much better but with a script and plot like this one, even their talent couldn’t help at all here.
Even these talented actors seem like they are very uncomfortable in these roles (and appearing in the film) and I can’t blame them because the story literally goes nowhere.
This film was really a complete waste of time and I don’t recommend that anyone see it. 😦
Bottom Line – Completely boring and unfun crime comedy. All of the actors seem uncomfortable in their roles especially Pinchot. Thought that it might be better due to the famous cast members, but the story is terrible and literally goes nowhere. Really a waste of 90 minutes….
MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – A clip from the TV series Perfect Strangers (1986) plays on the TV. In the clip, Larry Appleton is calling for “Balki.” Bronson Pinchot, who stars in this film as Bobby, played Balki in “Perfect Strangers.” (From IMDB)
Rating – Razzie Worthy
