Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman (2003)

mystery of the batwoman “Batman, Batgirl, Batwoman. What is it about this city? The water? ” – Penguin

Number of Times Seen – 1 (15 Aug 2016)

Brief Synopsis – As Gotham gets a new vigilante to add to the already crowded field, Batman tries to figure out who this mysterious new woman really is.

My Take on it – I really liked the way they did this one.

The twists and turns here are lots of fun and they do an excellent job keeping you guessing what is really going on.

The voice cast is superb with David Ogden Stiers, Kyra Sedgewick, Efrem Zimbalist Jr., Kimberley Brooks, Kelly Ripa, John Vernon, Tara Strong adding their voices to the characters in addition to the voice of Kevin Conroy as Batman.

The story isn’t perfect but I liked the way that they had things unfold here because they kept the suspense going for quite a while.

Bottom Line – Loved the twists and turns here. Not perfect but they let the story unfold quite well so that it keeps us guessing the whole way thru. Excellent voice cast helps make this even better. Recommended!

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – David Ogden Stiers takes on the role of the Penguin, who was played regularly throughout Batman: The Animated Series (1992) series by Paul Williams. Williams was originally considered for this movie, but the producers decided to use Stiers to give the Penguin a more threatening ambiance. (From IMDB)

Rating – Globe Worthy
