For this month’s twenty eighth Toptober Tens, Here are my Top Ten Favorite Film Portrayals of Real Presidents.
With the upcoming US Elections giving all of us heartburn no matter our political affiliations, here are ten film portrayals of American Presidents that are all better choices than the two we now have to choose from. đŸ˜‰
Keep in mind, that these are all solely my opinion and part of what I would like to do is open conversation and dialogue between us all over the choices in these lists

9. Nixon (1995) – Anthony Hopkins as Richard Nixon
8. John Adams (2008) – Paul Giamatti as John Adams
7. Lincoln (2012) – Daniel Day-Lewis as Abraham Lincoln
6. Warm Springs (2005) – Kenneth Branagh as FDR
5. Truman (1995) – Gary Sinese as Harry Truman
4. All the Way (2016) – Bryan Cranston as LBJ
3. Give Em Hell Harry (1975) – James Whitmore as Harry Truman
2. Amistad (1997) – Anthony Hopkins as John Quincy Adams
- Thirteen Days (2000) – Bruce Greenwood as JFK

Michael Gambon as LBJ in “Path to War” was wonderful too. That was the film to which “All The Way” was a prequel.
