Justice League: War (2014)

jlw“[to Wonder Woman] Get him out of there. His showboating is gonna ruin the entire plan. Oh, great, now I’m Batman.” – Green Lantern

Number of Times Seen – 1 (30 Oct 2016)

Brief Synopsis – A group of seven superheroes join forces to fight off an alien invasion.

My Take on it – Being a fan of the superheroes of the DC universe, I always love watching the superheroes interact in just about any format or venue.

This film gives us an alternate and updated version of the creation of the Justice League and they do a wonderful job introducing us to the characters.

It was also great to see that none of them really knew each other prior to this story so the fact that they need to work together to fight a common enemy works even better as a catalyst for their new found alliance.

The fact that they needed to learn to trust one another was dealt with perfectly.

Bottom Line – Loved the way they showed us a new origin story for the Justice League. Each of the characters were introduced in an interesting way. Liked how none of them really knew each other before the events in this film and we got to see how they meet each other for the first time. Recommended!

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – While Cyborg was known as a founding member of the Teen Titans in the previous continuity, in the New 52 he was a founding member of the Justice League, replacing Martian Manhunter who was the seventh founding member in the previous Justice League origin story (From IMDB)

Rating – Globe Worthy
