Gary From Accounting (2016)

gary“Your expense reports are sometimes a little late.” – Gary

Number of Times Seen – 1 (20 Nov 2016)

Brief Synopsis – Short film about what can happen when the wrong person is invited to an intervention

My Take on it – This is a short and sweet film that gives us a humourously eye opening perspective to quite a serious situation.

At first I wasnt sure where this was taking us but I really enjoyed how they do a great job showing the way modern society views the importance of pop culture references over familial ones.

I really enjoyed how in just a few short minutes, they were able to show us how absurd modern society can be because of how we have changed our values and no longer cherish the same things we use to.

Bottom Line – Funny film that takes a serious situation and gives us an eye opening perspective to it. Liked the way that they show us how society views pop culture references in a higher fashion than familial connections. In just a few minutes we get a nice overall story that truly reflects the ansurdity of the modern society we have created for ourselves. Recommended!
