“Faith is belief based on an absence of data. ” – Robin
Number of Times Seen – 1 (16 Nov 2016)
Brief Synopsis – After Robin has a falling out with the members of the Justice League, he joins a superhero team known as the Teen Titans where he tries to learn how to work with a team.
My Take on it – As a fan of superhero films and especially my new acquired taste for the DC/WB animated films, I must admit that I was a bit disappointed with this film.
This is one of the least interesting of the series of animated films and it mainly has to do with the choice to focus on the Teen Titans instead of the regular Justice League heroes that we have been use to seeing up until now.
The story itself also isn’t as interesting as it could be and doesn’t really have the impact that most of the films in the DC/WB series has given us over the years.
That being said, the voice cast is superb as always with these films and I liked hearing Jerry O’Connell as Superman (for the small amount of time he was featured).
Bottom Line – This was one of the least interesting DC/WB films because it doesn’t focus enough of the main heroes we love and want to see them instead of the new characters. The story is mediocre and isn’t as impactful as we have gotten sue to from the people at DC/WB. Great voice cast as always.
MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – This is the first Justice League film in DC Animated New 52 Universe where The Green Lantern is absent. (From IMDB)
Rating – BAFTA Worthy
