“As President, I don’t usually get the chance to recognize a family who so selflessly donate 67 million dollars to a home for homeless architects and their families. ” – The President
Number of Times Seen – 2 (23 Dec 2003 and 21 Feb 2017)
Brief Synopsis – Somehow, Mike Brady becomes President of the United States and we now get to see how the Brady Family would act if they lived in the White House.
My Take on it – This is one of those cases where a franchise should have stopped while they were still ahead.
This is a terribly silly film that just doesn’t work on so many different levels.
They take a franchise that was working and completely dragged it in the mud.
This isn’t really a film that I would recommend to anyone to watch unless they are looking for nostalgia for the Brady Family and that’s also a stretch.
Bottom Line – Certain franchises should stop while they are ahead. This film is terrible and takes a fun franchise and completely drags it in the mud. Not worth watching unless you want a bit of nostalgia from the Brady family, but even that is iffy.
MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – Actor Gary Cole, who ends up playing President Brady (aka President Mike Brady) in this movie, later played an Presidential Advisor on Veep (2012) between the years 2013-2016 [to date] and Vice President Bob Russell on The West Wing (1999), the latter between the years 2003-2006. (From IMDB)
Rating – Razzie Worthy
