Office Christmas Party (2016)

“My name is Carol, I’m so old I died in the beginning of “Up!” ” – Lonny

Number of Times Seen – 1 (25 Apr 2017)

Brief Synopsis – As a last ditch move, the owner of a technology company throws a wild party in order to win over a large investor.

My Take on it – I’m usually not the biggest fan of films like this one and went in with no expectations whatsoever.

Surprisingly, this film hooked me quite early on and I had so much fun with it.

I laughed at the way so much of this film was done because it just kept getting funnier and funnier.

The cast is superbly chosen and even the actors that you wouldn’t expect to be so funny also were able to make me laugh so hard at their antics.

The pacing of this film is superb and I kept laughing over and over at all of the antics by all of the characters as they get zanier and zanier.

Boy do I wish that I worked in such a fun place like the one they show us here!

Bottom Line – Such a fun film!  The cast is amazing and it’s so enjoyable watching them all have soi much fun with the way that things go as the film progresses. I had no expectations going in and was so pleasantly surprised with how much fun this was to watch.  The pacing is great and they are able to make so much fun of so many things that will keep you laughing the whole way through.  We all wish that we worked in a place like this one.  Recommended!

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – The title of the movie was inspired by an SNL skit called “Office Christmas Party” (From IMDB)

Rating – Globe Worthy

  1. Agree wih your take. The trailer looked pretty funny (and I’m a big Jason Bateman and Kristin Wiig fan) – and for once all the best bits weren’t just in the trailer. Enjoyed this movie. Made me laugh.
