Well, another month comes to an end together with our random war movie theme. The poll winner this month (well, July and August due to Realweegiemidget and I both galavanting in our own ways) is The Bridge on the River Kwai (in case you didn’t read the post title).

Our theme for next month is Time Travel and we’re also going to be stirring things up a bit…you’ll find out soon enough…he he.

So, let’s get on with it. Here’s the trailer…

I’d watched the movie years and years ago and honestly can’t remember much of it. So, I’d expected the trailer to remind me of the story…but because I was expecting it…it didn’t. What it did do is tempt me to watch this one again…great trailer I’d say. One that doesn’t give it all away.

  1. Shocked that you’ve seen this classic and didn’t remember it well. It made an indelible impression on me the first time I saw it – and every time subsequently. This is a David Lean gem with a magnificent script and cast. “Madness…”
