“I’m not writing about you. I wrote you. ” – Calvin
Number of Times Seen – 1 (2 Nov 2017)
Brief Synopsis – A best selling author with writers block somehow brings to life a character he has created on paper.
My Take on it – This is a film that i knew absolutely nothing about befire watching It and was quite intrigued to see why Damien was so enthusuastic about it.
The premise is quite fresh and original and stays interesting the whole time as things progress.
I was surprised to see that it was written by the female lead Zoe Kazan who stars xalong longtime companion Paul Dano.
Since the two are a real couple they have such energy and chemistry together that it helps make the characters feel even more real and genuine.
The story goes to some really intriguing places that you probably wouldn’t expect which helos keep it so interesting the whole way through.
The characters and situations they are put in are fascinating to watch and it keeps things so enjoyable to watch it all play out.
Bottom Line – Great idea because it is so original and interesting. Dano and Kazan have amazing chemistry together which helps make this feel so real and genuine. The story goes places one would never expect which makes is so interesting to follow. The characters are fun to watch as they interact which makes this film so enjoyable to watch. Recommended!
